This week is the first week of our novel unit! We'll be studying A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle. I hope that you're as excited as I am about reading this book. Here's our class schedule for the week:

Homework: Vocabulary flashcards (20 this week!!!)
Tuesday:

Classwork-Before Reading activity with class
Read Chapter 1 of AWiT.
Homework: Vocabulary exercises and 10 sentences.
Wednesday:
LIBRARY DAY!
Bring your library books to school!!
Thursday:
Bellwork-Prepositions
Read Chapter 2 of AWiT
Homework: Finish chapters 1-2 summary sheets
Friday:
Quiz on Prepositions, Vocabulary, AWiT ch. 1-2
Classwork: Writing about AWiT
